The sordunas and dulciana are very old wind instruments. Made with wooden tubes and producing the sound with a double reed, they are ancestors of our bassoons and contrabassoons. No sound tastes better to a baby than a contrabassoon, and no duets are sweeter than bassoons. They are flavors that vibrate babies’ cheeks like no other, and paint the air with full tones. And only the brothers Pedro and Gonçalo Pereira, who were among the first babies to watch the Concerts as an audience, and now come back as guest soloists, could offer us those sounds.
